This piece was commissioned by a private collector and is based on their story and character concepts.  Should I receive permission to post more info in future I'll do so, but until then it should (I hope) be pretty clear what's happening.  If not, let yourself be distracted by the shiny!

I was excited to do something atmospheric, and for the chance to design a sci-fi sort of room.  The basic framework was created in Live Interior 3D, a program which is relatively new to me but very useful in blocking out architectural stuff.  The rest of the work was done in Manga Studio, then Photoshop.  Like an idiot I gave myself about a million light-sources, all of which I hope I got right.  This one took a long time to paint, but the result was worth it!
