Zayel Retinue Briefing

A huge commission for of her Warhammer 40K group.  She was incredibly patient about waiting for me to finish this!  The designs and characters are all based on very detailed information she gave me, with only a little design tweaking on my part.   was very thorough about what she wanted, down to little costume details, and the exact placement of the characters within the composition.  I had never even heard of the game beforehand, so I needed all the help I could get!  The quasi-steampunk-gothic-revival-post-Catholic look of the whole thing was interesting.  Also, trying to find photo reference for the faces/poses with the correct lighting was a laborious venture into Google Images, but I think I managed pretty well.  Anyway, the characters look like what  wanted, which is what I was going for.
